We are a professional non profit 501 (c) (3) organization for Autism Awareness.
Our goal is to ensure that stakeholders in the education, business, healthcare and non-profit arenas fully understand the challenges faced by parents and children impacted by autism. Support from generous donors allows Perfect Connection to sponsor workshops for parents, sensory friendly field trips and activities for students, and programs designed to prepare young adults on the spectrum for successfully navigating independent living.
About 75% of autistic adults are not employed, but that number rises to 85% for autistic adults who have received a degree.
Boys are diagnosed with autism about 3.4 times more often than girls — approximately 4.9 % of boys versus 1.4 % of girls.
